Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Tract Houses, Jersey City, New Jersey; and Row of Tract Houses, Bayonne, New Jersey, from Homes for America by Dan Graham. The price achieved of USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,648.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Empty Shoji Screen Pergola / Two-Way Mirror Container in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,131.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tract Houses, Jersey City, New Jersey; and Row of Tract Houses, Bayonne, New Jersey, from Homes for America von Dan Graham zur Versteigerung kam.
