Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Dadang Christanto was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,791.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 65,000.00 – 95,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dadang Christanto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heads With Silver in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 450,000.00 (€ 45,773.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dadang Christanto wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.791,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 65.000,00 – 95.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dadang Christanto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heads With Silver im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 450.000,00 (€ 45.773,54).
