Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pilgrim Project (No. 2) by Dadang Christanto was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 78,000.00 (€ 7,564.14). Admittedly, works by Dadang Christanto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heads With Silver in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 450,000.00 (€ 45,773.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pilgrim Project (No. 2) von Dadang Christanto wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 78.000,00 (€ 7.564,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dadang Christanto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heads With Silver im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 450.000,00 (€ 45.773,54).
