This work without title by Dadang Christanto was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,271.42), 61% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Dadang Christanto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heads With Silver in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 450,000.00 (€ 45,773.54).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dadang Christanto wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.271,42) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dadang Christanto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heads With Silver im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 450.000,00 (€ 45.773,54).
