Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Tablemats by Cristina Iglesias for USD 625.00 (€ 470.56). This price was achieved in the auction First Impression Prints and Multiples at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cristina Iglesias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sin título in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tablemats von Cristina Iglesias für USD 625,00 (€ 470,56) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Impression Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cristina Iglesias erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sin título im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
