Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hanging Corridors, Edition Jacob Samuel, Santa Monica, 2008 by Cristina Iglesias was sold in the First Impression Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in New York in July 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,070.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cristina Iglesias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sin título in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hanging Corridors, Edition Jacob Samuel, Santa Monica, 2008 von Cristina Iglesias wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion First Impression Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.070,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cristina Iglesias erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sin título im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
