Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Cristina Iglesias for GBP 17,780.00 (€ 20,743.87). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cristina Iglesias - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sin título, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cristina Iglesias für GBP 17.780,00 (€ 20.743,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Cristina Iglesias mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sin título beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 42.000,00 versteigert wurde.
