In April 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary, which included this untitled work by Cristina Iglesias. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Cristina Iglesias have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sin título in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cristina Iglesias zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cristina Iglesias auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sin título im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
