Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Ahead by Cris Brodahl for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,403.54). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Cris Brodahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Jean Genie in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 22,607.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ahead von Cris Brodahl für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.403,54) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cris Brodahl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Jean Genie im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 22.607,12).
