Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue de l'atelier by Constantin Brancusi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 45,810.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constantin Brancusi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La jeune fille sophistiquée (Portrait de Nancy Cunard) in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 71,187,500.00 (€ 61,000,428.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vue de l'atelier von Constantin Brancusi kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 45.810,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constantin Brancusi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La jeune fille sophistiquée (Portrait de Nancy Cunard) im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.187.500,00 (€ 61.000.428,45).
