Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Négresse blanche de trois-quart vue de nuit, 1923 by Constantin Brancusi was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 56,700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constantin Brancusi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La jeune fille sophistiquée (Portrait de Nancy Cunard) in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 71,187,500.00 (€ 61,000,428.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Négresse blanche de trois-quart vue de nuit, 1923 von Constantin Brancusi kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 56.700,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constantin Brancusi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La jeune fille sophistiquée (Portrait de Nancy Cunard) im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.187.500,00 (€ 61.000.428,45).
