A top price for Constantin Brancusi - as previously expected

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 70,000,000.00 – 100,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 71,187,500.00 (€ 61,000,428.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La jeune fille sophistiquée (Portrait de Nancy Cunard) is the most expensive artwork by Constantin Brancusi that we have observed at auctions so far.
