Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paradigm Decay (Structural) by Conrad Shawcross was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2014. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,960.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Conrad Shawcross have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Nervous System in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 61,875.00 (€ 73,135.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paradigm Decay (Structural) von Conrad Shawcross wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.960,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conrad Shawcross auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Nervous System im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.875,00 (€ 73.135,76).
