Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction Art for Maggie's: Everyone's Home of Cancer Care, which included the work Paradigm Study (Solid) by Conrad Shawcross. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,828.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Conrad Shawcross have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work The Nervous System was auctioned for GBP 61,875.00 (€ 73,135.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Art for Maggie's: Everyone's Home of Cancer Care durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paradigm Study (Solid) von Conrad Shawcross zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.828,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Conrad Shawcross konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit The Nervous System für GBP 61.875,00 (€ 73.135,76) versteigert.
