Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde, which included the work Plaza 3 by Cole Morgan. The price achieved of EUR 9,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Cole Morgan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2001 the work Stripes was auctioned for NLG 29,375.00 (€ 14,119.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plaza 3 von Cole Morgan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Cole Morgan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2001 die Arbeit Stripes für NLG 29.375,00 (€ 14.119,00) versteigert.
