Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cole Morgan could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Night Vision changed hands for EUR 7,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Cole Morgan have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2001 by the work Stripes at NLG 29,375.00 (€ 14,119.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cole Morgan konnte im November 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Night Vision für EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Cole Morgan wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2001 die Arbeit Stripes mit NLG 29.375,00 (€ 14.119,00).
