The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cole Morgan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stripes in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 29,375.00 (€ 14,119.00).

Die Arbeit Proto bird starter 12 von Cole Morgan kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cole Morgan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stripes im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 29.375,00 (€ 14.119,00).
