In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Aggregation20-SE056 by Kwang Young Chun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Kwang Young Chun have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 128,943.11) in November 2013 for the work Aggregation 07-De245.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aggregation20-SE056 von Kwang Young Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Kwang Young Chun haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 128.943,11) im November 2013 für die Arbeit Aggregation 07-De245 beobachtet.
