Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Sale, which included the work Aggregation 10 – MY016 Blue and Red by Kwang Young Chun. The price achieved of EUR 69,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Other works by Kwang Young Chun have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work Aggregation 07-De245 was auctioned for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 128,943.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aggregation 10 – MY016 Blue and Red von Kwang Young Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 69.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kwang Young Chun konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2013 die Arbeit Aggregation 07-De245 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 128.943,11) versteigert.
