Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aggregation 09-A009 by Kwang Young Chun was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 381,000.00 (€ 46,074.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kwang Young Chun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aggregation 07-De245, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 128,943.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aggregation 09-A009 von Kwang Young Chun wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 381.000,00 (€ 46.074,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kwang Young Chun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aggregation 07-De245 beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 128.943,11) versteigert wurde.
