Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aggregation 06-Ju010 by Kwang Young Chun was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,363.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 550,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kwang Young Chun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aggregation 07-De245, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 128,943.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aggregation 06-Ju010 von Kwang Young Chun kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.363,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 380.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kwang Young Chun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aggregation 07-De245 beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 128.943,11) versteigert wurde.
