Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aggregation 22-AP078 by Kwang Young Chun was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. The price achieved of HKD 508,000.00 (€ 59,481.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kwang Young Chun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aggregation 07-De245, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 128,943.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aggregation 22-AP078 von Kwang Young Chun kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 508.000,00 (€ 59.481,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kwang Young Chun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aggregation 07-De245 beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 128.943,11) versteigert wurde.
