Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work ONT-002 by Kwang Young Chun. The price achieved of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 109,563.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Other works by Kwang Young Chun have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work Aggregation 07-De245 was auctioned for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 128,943.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit ONT-002 von Kwang Young Chun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 109.563,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kwang Young Chun konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2013 die Arbeit Aggregation 07-De245 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 128.943,11) versteigert.
