Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Landscape) by Christian Schumann was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,644.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Schumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Faces) in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 51,357.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) von Christian Schumann wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.644,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Schumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Faces) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 51.357,26).
