This work of art by Christian Holstad could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work I. One Very Long Tone Ii. Say Something Nicely Iii. Shadow Come To Focus Iv. Balancing Rain changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 673.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Holstad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maid's Chariot in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 25,867.84).
