Auction result well in line with expectations
The work House Training #1 (Dancing Goats) by Christian Holstad was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November last year. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 988.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Holstad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maid's Chariot in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 25,867.84).
