Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Holstad could be acquired at Bonhams in London in January 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The SAATCHI Edit auction, the work House Training 12 (Flowers) changed hands for GBP 612.00 (€ 692.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Holstad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maid's Chariot in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 25,867.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Holstad konnte im Januar 2021 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The SAATCHI Edit wechselte die Arbeit House Training 12 (Flowers) für GBP 612,00 (€ 692,09) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Holstad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maid's Chariot im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.800,00 (€ 25.867,84).
