Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work Blurred Transformative Vision, A Suite of Five Drawings by Christian Holstad for USD 701.25 (€ 679.31). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Holstad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maid's Chariot in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 25,867.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Blurred Transformative Vision, A Suite of Five Drawings von Christian Holstad für USD 701,25 (€ 679,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Holstad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maid's Chariot im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.800,00 (€ 25.867,84).
