Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Big Drag by Christian Holstad was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,197.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Holstad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maid's Chariot in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,800.00 (€ 25,867.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Big Drag von Christian Holstad kam im Februar 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.197,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Holstad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maid's Chariot im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.800,00 (€ 25.867,84).
