Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Japanese Apricot 3 - A Pink Dream by Chiho Aoshima for HKD 126,000.00 (€ 13,686.87). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art and Design Day Sale in association with Phillips at POLY in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chiho Aoshima - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work City Glow, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Japanese Apricot 3 - A Pink Dream von Chiho Aoshima für HKD 126.000,00 (€ 13.686,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art and Design Day Sale in association with Phillips bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit City Glow beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37) versteigert wurde.
