In April 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Graveheads by Chiho Aoshima. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,027.43), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiho Aoshima achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City Glow in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 48,508.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Graveheads von Chiho Aoshima zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.027,43) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiho Aoshima erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City Glow im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 48.508,37).
