Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nocturne by Charles Maurin was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,574.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Maurin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La mer in March 2017 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nocturne von Charles Maurin kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.574,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Maurin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La mer im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
