The work French her Guardian Angel by Charles Maurin was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. It achieved a price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 28,403.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Other works by Charles Maurin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 47,500.00 in March 2017 for the work La mer.
