The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,268.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Gaines achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Numbers And Trees: Central Park Series Iv: Tree #6, Carmichael in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 475,000.00 (€ 426,047.18).
