The work Relief Nr.20 by César Domela was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2013. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,729.88) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by César Domela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Composition Néoplastique in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 531,199.15).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Relief Nr.20 von César Domela wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.729,88) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von César Domela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Composition Néoplastique im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 531.199,15).
