Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Artcurial held the auction Prints and Illustrated Books, which included the work Composition by César Domela. The price achieved of EUR 260.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by César Domela achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Composition Néoplastique in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 531,199.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints and Illustrated Books durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von César Domela zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 260,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von César Domela erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Composition Néoplastique im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 422.500,00 (€ 531.199,15).
