The work Vista by Carter Mull was sold in the Contemporary Curated featuring works from the Collection of Joni Gordon of Newspace Gallery auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2014. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,423.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Vista is the most expensive artwork by Carter Mull that we have observed at auctions so far.
