Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Serena with Cap by Carole Feuerman was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,667.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carole Feuerman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mona Lisa in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 69,290.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Serena with Cap von Carole Feuerman kam im Juli 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.667,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carole Feuerman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mona Lisa im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 69.290,47).
