This artwork by Carole Feuerman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in July 2018. In the Contemporary Art Online: NYC auction, the work Mini Serena (Swarovski Cap), 2012 sold for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,288.74) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carole Feuerman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mona Lisa, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 69,290.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carole Feuerman erzielte im Juli 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online: NYC wurde die Arbeit Mini Serena (Swarovski Cap), 2012 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.288,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carole Feuerman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mona Lisa beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 69.290,47) versteigert wurde.
