In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale Online auction, the work Portrait Of Mary Rockefeller changed hands for USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,053.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cândido Portinari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Meninos soltando pipas in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,443,750.00 (€ 1,111,603.02).
