In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Second Theme #127 sold for USD 163,800.00 (€ 134,328.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Burgoyne Diller; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Number 47, First Theme sold at auction in May 2021 with the realized price of USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
