Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Burgoyne Diller. The price achieved of USD 1,657.50 (€ 1,370.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Burgoyne Diller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Number 47, First Theme in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Burgoyne Diller zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.657,50 (€ 1.370,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Burgoyne Diller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Number 47, First Theme im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11).
