Upper estimate price exceeded by 25 %.
The work Chalk Cliff Study by Boyle Family was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,052.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boyle Family achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansard Mews in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 55,200.00 (€ 81,984.74).
