In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Technical Study for a Random Work by Boyle Family. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,040.00 (€ 8,157.83), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boyle Family achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansard Mews in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 55,200.00 (€ 81,984.74).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Technical Study for a Random Work von Boyle Family zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.040,00 (€ 8.157,83) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boyle Family erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hansard Mews im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.200,00 (€ 81.984,74).
