In June 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Study For The Japan Series With Thirteen Rusty Rails, Spilt Concrete, Grey And Pink Paint, Kumamoto Prefecture, 1990 by Boyle Family. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,674.49), 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boyle Family - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hansard Mews, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 55,200.00 (€ 81,984.74).

Im Juni 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study For The Japan Series With Thirteen Rusty Rails, Spilt Concrete, Grey And Pink Paint, Kumamoto Prefecture, 1990 von Boyle Family zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.674,49) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Boyle Family mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hansard Mews beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 55.200,00 (€ 81.984,74) versteigert wurde.
