Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Study For The Westminster Series With Kerb, Yellow Parking Line And Cobbles by Boyle Family. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,189.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boyle Family have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hansard Mews in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 55,200.00 (€ 81,984.74).
