Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Black Tyre Mark by Boyle Family for GBP 1,063.00 (€ 1,293.92). This price was achieved in the auction Made In Britain at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boyle Family achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansard Mews in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 55,200.00 (€ 81,984.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Black Tyre Mark von Boyle Family für GBP 1.063,00 (€ 1.293,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made In Britain bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boyle Family erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hansard Mews im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.200,00 (€ 81.984,74).
