Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Stretched Bodies) by Bose Krishnamachari was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,264.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bose Krishnamachari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stretched Bodies, 2007 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 37,176.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Stretched Bodies) von Bose Krishnamachari kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.264,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bose Krishnamachari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stretched Bodies, 2007 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.176,00.
