In May 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Indian Art, which included the work Stretched Bodies by Bose Krishnamachari. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81), 54% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bose Krishnamachari; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Stretched Bodies, 2007 sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of EUR 37,176.00.

Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Indian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stretched Bodies von Bose Krishnamachari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bose Krishnamachari; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Stretched Bodies, 2007 im Dezember 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.176,00.
