It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,151.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bose Krishnamachari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stretched Bodies, 2007, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 37,176.00.

Die Arbeit Stretched Bodies von Bose Krishnamachari wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.151,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Bose Krishnamachari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stretched Bodies, 2007 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 37.176,00 versteigert wurde.
